Plenty River Music Studio
Plenty River Music is located in the leafy suburb of Greensborough, Melbourne. David Pietsch recently relocated back to Melbourne from Yackandandah in North East Victoria and is now enroling students in his new music studio.
Learning music begins in a supportive and positive environment. Plenty River Music provides a conducive and inspiring studio environment where students can flourish in their musical journey under the guidance of David Pietsch.
David Pietsch
David Pietsch is an accomplished musician and teacher with over 20 years experience. Since graduating from the Bachelor of Music at the University of Melbourne in 2001, he has taught in several school music programs as well as operating his own teaching studio in Melbourne and regional Victoria.
Over the years, David has also performed as a freelance musician. This has included a performance with the Border Quartet supporting the renowned singer Lior in 2021. David graduated from the Masters of Teaching (Primary) through Latrobe University in 2021 and has since ventured into primary classroom music teaching, whilst continuing to teach individual students.
David developed a passion for music from a very young age, spending his formative years learning by the Suzuki method. This has inspired David to continue on this journey as a Suzuki teacher, passing on his experiences and expertise to new generations of young musicians and their families.
David is actively involved as a teacher member of Suzuki Music, which is the Victorian branch of the Suzuki Talent Education Association of Australia. Families who learn with David will become family members of this association and will attend student workshops and performances each year.
